What To Expect
When you book a visit with Iris Veterinary Care, here’s what happens:
You reach out.
Call or text, whatever’s easier. We’ll ask about your pet, your priorities, and what’s going on.
We handle the legwork.
Our team gathers past records, walks you through the process, and sets up a window of time for your visit.
We come to you.
Your pet stays in their comfort zone. No crates. No cars. No stress. Just a team that shows up at your door with everything your pet needs.
There’s time to talk, to explain, to notice things others might miss. That’s how Iris would’ve wanted it.
A Better Veterinary Experience
We aim to deliver a veterinary experience unlike any other.
Forget noisy and busy waiting rooms, other stressed pets and families. Forget having attention focused anywhere but you and your beloved pet.
Visits with the Iris Veterinary Care team are intentionally focused and unrushed. With new patients, we usually start the visit with a discussion, usually with Dr. M sitting on the floor, to allow your pet time to get familiar with us.
Exams are performed wherever your pet is most comfortable. We have examined cats in closets and on top of cat trees and refrigerators. We have examined dogs on couches and in backyards. We draw blood, collect urine, give vaccines, take X-rays, etc. all in the safety and comfort of your home. (Anesthetic procedures including surgery and dentistry are performed in our fully-equipped mobile hospital.)
We go at your pet’s pace and comfort. For particularly fearful pets, this may mean we don’t accomplish everything in one visit. Some pets may need oral or injectable sedatives to keep them comfortable and safe for certain diagnostic tests.
We spend more time with you, so you get more time with them.
