Advanced Diagnostics

We don’t believe in prescribing tests just because “that’s what’s done.” Every recommendation has a reason behind it—and we make sure you understand what we’re looking for and why it matters. Sometimes it’s to confirm what we suspect; other times, to rule out something we hope isn’t there. Either way, these decisions are made with you, not for you.

While “bloodwork” might just look like a page of numbers, to Dr. Marsigliano, it’s a story—one written in the language of your pet’s body. Each value, each small shift from what’s expected, offers clues about how they’re really doing on the inside. Over time, those clues form patterns that reveal the earliest whispers of change, long before illness makes itself known. We help translate that language for you—turning data into understanding, and uncertainty into a plan that helps your pet feel their best.

The same is true for X-rays and ultrasound imaging. What can seem like indistinct gray shapes on a screen reveals a visual puzzle of light and shadow where small differences can mean everything, and once they’re pointed out, the picture becomes clear.

Our job as your family veterinarian is to read between the lines, translate what we see, and share that story with you in a way that makes sense and empowers you to care for your pet with confidence.

In-House Laboratory

Our mobile unit is equipped with in-house laboratory testing, allowing us to diagnose many pet illnesses while we are on-site. Our laboratory capabilities include essential blood and urine testing, parasite testing, dermatology testing, and more. Fast, bedside test results provide critical health information in minutes, eliminating the time lag associated with sending out tests and allowing us to formulate a treatment plan without delay.

Reference Laboratory

For specialized or non-urgent tests, we partner with top-tier reference laboratories to provide comprehensive diagnostic services, including blood panels, histopathology, cultures, and more. Tests sent to reference labs complement our in-house diagnostics by providing a more complete picture of your pet’s health.

X-rays are a vital diagnostic tool for assessing bones, joints, the chest, abdomen, bladder, and other internal structures. Our mobile hospital is equipped with X-ray technology that delivers high-quality images with minimal radiation exposure. Our veterinarians can interpret initial results on-site and may consult with a radiology specialist for expert review when needed.
Reasons We May Perform X-Rays on Your Pet:
  • Suspected fracture or soft tissue injury
  • Vomiting
  • Urinary tract problems
  • Abnormal abdominal palpation
  • Heart murmur
  • Coughing or difficulty breathing
  • Urinary stone analysis
X-Ray

X-ray image of an animal, likely a dog, viewed from above, showing the spine, ribs, pelvis, and leg bones; some internal organs are faintly visible—often used by a veterinarian or mobile vet for diagnostic purposes.

Ultrasounds

Ultrasound is a non-invasive imaging technique that provides real-time, three-dimensional images of your pet’s internal organs—without radiation. Our mobile ultrasound services allow us to evaluate abdominal organs, obtain biopsies, collect urine, and monitor hospitalized patients—all in a cost-effective and stress-free manner for you and your pet.

Abdominal Ultrasound

An abdominal ultrasound provides a complete scan of your pet’s liver, kidneys, spleen, bladder, adrenal glands, pancreas, gallbladder, and intestines. This non-invasive imaging is essential for diagnosing tumors, evaluating organ size and appearance, and obtaining ultrasound-guided needle biopsy samples. Our team collects detailed measurements and image snapshots to guide us in developing a treatment plan—all from the comfort of your home.
